Welcome! whanau and friends

Nau mai haere mai !..welcome to my blog and Wow what a year so far. Its been great actually though a bit of a juggling act. For those who know me music plays a big part of my life but so to my design work at logocafe. I havent been able to dedicate much time to this infact ive had to turn down some project work so i can spend more time in the studio, anyway the good thing is that i need design work done on my site and bits and bobs so i keep my hand in.

I wrote Mi Amor Secreto last year and it was released along with Roadie on all the music platforms around the world including Spotify and iTunes on April 28 2017. I released them on a mini debut album called SOULDOG. Mi Amor Secreto is Spanish and means "My Secret love''...its all about a guy playing mind games during an espresso..poor guy!..I really enjoyed producing this track was fun. What people dont realise is that I recorded the intro and middle 8 using nylons playing my classical guitar and during the production in iRig's Amplitube i dropped an affect across the track and the rest is history as they say. Roadie i wrote earlier this year about life on the road for that special group of people that work tirelessly behind the scenes to keep those "sound wheels turning..." I dedicated it to Paul Taane, who was a roadie for "Fraternity Of Man" back in the late 70's. FM was a group of amazing and loving muso friends from my home town in Levin NZ. I played bass then and lead vocals. I have also released a cover of J J Cale's SENSITIVE KIND under license..enoy.
